It is particularly useful for headshy horses who may be uncomfortable through the poll.
We have found that it significantly relaxes poll muscles during massage and other body treatments with only 30 minutes use.
Within minutes, most horses begin licking & chewing, yawning, snoozing and head lowering.
All horses whose jobs require poll flexion, or who have a history of injury in the head & neck areas, or who have high stable doors, or who have/have had in the past awkward access to their feed, or who need general calming will appreciate this item of tack.
Useful for horses who become fractious when their stable mate is taken away.
Use it while you groom, while you massage, before you load fractious travellers, or whenever your horse needs a soothing complementary therapy. Just give it 10 to 20 minutes to take effect and use for up to an hour.
Can be used while riding - slow flatwork - but remove it completely / do not use if the horse becomes too laid back or appears drowsy.
